my name is Chelsey!
I am a Wedding and Lifestyle Photographer based in the small town of Walker, Louisiana right outside of Baton Rouge. Photography has always been my favorite hobby. Fast forward to 2016, I became a mom to my oldest daughter, Aria. Photography then became a passion. No... let's be honest, it's more like an obsession. Becoming a mom made me realize how important memories are. The best way I have found to hold onto my memories has been through pictures. I want to help everyone hold onto their special memories.

For the last seven years of being an adult, I have dabbled in many career paths. I have worked in education, business administration, sales. None of these careers fulfilled me. I enjoyed them.. I will even say I loved them, but I needed more.
I needed to be creative.
I needed to serve others.
I needed more. I wanted more. Photography had always been a hobby, and it has always been something I am good at. I just didn't know how to make it a career since photography is so saturated now. BUT, I know that God does not place things on hearts with no reason behind it. I now have found purpose with two jobs that I know God designed just for me. When I am not capturing your memories, you can find me working in Children’s Ministry at my church. It is so cool how God works and places you in careers you truly were made for when you trust His plan.
God's plan is the best plan.
I always wanted photography to be my only job. Little did I know that God would place me in a season of doing photography part-time and ministry part-time.. and happy doing both. So happy and FULFILLED. Every weekend and some weekday evenings, you will find me at weddings, hospitals, homes, etc. capturing my client's memories. My favorite memories to capture are weddings, seniors, and maternity. I believe these three milestones are huge steps in peoples lives and I absolutely love being apart of these special celebrations.
When I am not behind the camera or working at my church, I am enjoying time with my family. I have a wonderful husband, Billy, and two beautiful daughters, Aria and Lexi.

I am your typical Louisiana girl. I love family time, crawfish, and the LSU Tigers. We go to church in Baton Rouge at Church of the King. Jesus has truly transformed my life and I give all the glory to Him for my photography business. I feel so blessed and thankful for everything the Lord has given me and I will continue to give Him all the praise and honor on my journey!
